Looking for youth football plays?

Dear coach,

If you care about your kids and the game you will read this four times. It's that serious.

My name is Jamie Lewis, and I pulled Steve Christy's leg. I talked him into releasing his playbook, strategy and the video that I took of his games, meetings and clinics during the entire 2011 season.

Being a father of one of the kids on Steve's team, I'll tell you this is like nothing I have ever seen before.

Steve Christy coaches youth football. That's what he does.

When he's not coaching youth football, he runs a sports apparel company.

He lives and breathes football.

Steve Christy is all about sports whether it is coaching Youth Football, High Schooll football or designing jerseys for teams.

His team is unstoppable. And it's not because he has one star player or makes the kids practice all year long.

He put in the work to create the most intricate spread offense.

Until now, his methods have been secret, and for as long as he allows me to host this site, you can get your hands on the very same plays he has used to win multiple AYF championships every year for 6 years.

Coach Christy's methods are tremendous and your about to see the inner workings right on this page.

Make sure to watch his video above, (then check out what his download entails later on at the bottom.)

"Playoff time came, 35-7 first quarter. Show me anywhere in the world where the score is 35-7 first quarter."

"It's not just the passing attack either. It's the running game that really makes the passing go" Steve explains.

"My boys are flat out nasty. Put us on a turf field, we can't get beat!"

"You gotta make plays. We'll even occasionally see a throwback to our offensive tackle. We get everyone involved."

This record speaks for itself.

"My kids aren't 6' 2" 180 lb runningbacks" Steve says.

It's all about the route and the execution.

It's true. How else could they consecutively win over & over agan?

With his playbook. And that's what you are about to get your hands on.

So you are probably curious about what I am getting at here.

I harrassed Steve for 12 months, Camera in his face, recording everything the man did.

I was absolutely fascinated watching my son, brand new to football executing plays like this.

Not only do they win every game, 35-0 or better... but every kid on the team is a star player!

It's not like there are one or two really good players and the other kids stand there.

It is a real TEAM effort.

So I hope you appreciate my "outsider's perspective."

I seriously doubt any "insider" to Football coaching would allow these plays to be downloaded without spending an arm & a leg on coaching, but me & Steve worked it out.

So here is what you get:

Video #1: Rifle basic
Intro transcription: (Steve speaking) Ok so what we are going to be doing today is introducing the basic spread offense formation. We labelled this "Rifle set."

We have slot, split, superback and quarterback here. And depending on your grade, 4th grade: 4 yard split. 5th grade, 5 yard split. And so on.

Video #2: Drills for 30'
Intro transcription: (Steve speaking) How do you implement the rifle set in practice?

Ok what we do is go hip to hip, line goes to play block line over here. Line play, your with the line coach. You keep the centers with us! Always keep the centers with us.

Video #3: Rifle Continued
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) So if you had to go out there today.. and coach an offensive team… and just run 30's? You'd be successful. Well of course we want more than 30's, and we'll give it to you here. Now were going to go with our next play, and it's going to be 31. Again, don't get crazy, stay within the progression. Slant, Void.
Video #4 Install
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) Now I'm only staying with Rifle because I haven't shown you any trips, any "empty" I haven't shown you any of that yet.
But just so you know, watch how easy it is. I move this guy, I become trips. I move this guy? I become bunch.
Video #5 Rock
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking)

Were about to introduce the "Rock" set.

Ok? This is double tight, double wing, this is if you run them to death and you got them all tired…The first two weeks of practice, all we do is Rock. We never get spread. We don't show you spread until we totally have "Rock" down.

Video #6: #41 White
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) Our kids are not the 6' 2 180 lb 7th graders that we are dealing with here. Our kids are the "Underdogs." You'll see my quarterback here on many many different occasions.

Were going to go to our 40 series now.

Video #7: Masterclass
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) Ok so, lets go to our next play here, this is one of our favorite plays. It's called #42. It's a screen to the 2 back.

Our objective is to get into the forward area and funnel into it.

70 black series
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) We call this 70 series, rifle formation. Like we had previously mentioned, were in shotgun. We use "rifle" as the word, you can use whatever term you want.

Were going to begin by setting you up with a basic spread set.

Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) Now we don't know what defense we are up against, but we assume that weve got a 3 man front or a 4 man front, it does not matter.

We are trying to get our two the ball, in space. One of the biggest things, is we want our superback to influence the defense.

Meet the kids
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) 70 series means we will end up in a 7 step drop when it's all said & done and it's our rollout series, so we go back to a 3 step drop back right back to the quarterback, 5 step drop with two steps, well even make this more and our quarterback will get a 7 step drop and start working downhill on his throw.
Video #9: Rifle Empty Bunch
Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) This formation entails four receivers to either side in a bunch, an isolated route on the opposite side, and a quarterback with an empty set.

And if we have so much pressure up front, and we have 6 guys coming… with 5 guys to block them? Were really not going to be able to run much off the bunch set, so we are going to have to automatically check down to this receiver..

If you are going to put 6 in the box, and cover you in 4, that leaves you with 1 on 1 coverage on the outside here.

Transcription of intro: (Steve speaking) 40 is our screen game. So anytime you hear a "4" it's going to be a screen.

This play is our jailbreak! This is a great play when you are getting a lot of pressure.

Ok? So we've got a lot of pressure and we are trying to get it going here, and this is just a great play for that.

Amazing right? I included a transcription of the first 10 seconds of every video.

Some of the videos are 60 minutes long and entail a full FAQ with actual coaches in the area, whom Steve works with annually as a friendly gesture.
